Somewhere between hazy gold and rosy pink, Stem’s cocktail-inspired creation has a cheerful quality to its appearance. On the nose it’s a little spicy and quite intriguing with black pepper, ripe apples, and white grapefruit or pomelo peel coming on strong, followed by a trailing note of woodsy juniper. Culinary apple steps into the spotlight on the palate, and a touch of malic acidity marries nicely with tangy citrus. Fruity and peppery in the semi-dry finish with a subtle trace of agave in the exhale, Paloma is festive, refreshing, and just plain fun.
