Orange U an IPA?

Urban Tree Cidery, Atlanta GA

At a distance you might mistake this hazy yellow-orange cider for a beer, but one whiff of the culinary apple, orange peel, and peachy sweetness on the nose and you’ll know what’s in the glass. Even though coriander doesn’t stand out in the aroma, the earthy, lemony spice comes through on the palate, as does the citrus fruit in the name, along with notes of apricot and more apple. Urban Tree’s creative crossover finishes semi-sweetly with a nudge of acidity that lends a quenching character to the end of the sip. A fun take on hopped cider, the only thing missing is a bit more dryness.

Price: $10.00/6-pack  | 6.5% ABV
