Tastings, tours, pairing and events promoting Montana-made hard cider commences Sept. 25, running until Oct. 1.
Join local cidermakers, orchardists and cider enthusiasts for the first annual Montana Cider Week September 25th through October 1st. The celebration kicks off Sunday with the Fork to Farm bicycle tour organized by BikeWalkBitterroot.org and MSU Extension. During the week there will be cider & cheese tasting Wednesday at Backroad Cider in Hamilton and Montana CiderWorks will team up with Blue Joint Chef, Mike Campbell for a cider & food pairing at “Last Friday’s” in Darby. Montana Cider Week concludes on Saturday October 1st with Liquid Apple Night sponsored by the Ravalli County Museum where you can sample Made-in-Montana and Rocky Mountain regional ciders.
