The cider fun continues well into the month of November with events happening all over the country. Cidermakers continue to showcase their wonderful ciders through local and statewide events. In addition to the 22nd annual CiderDays, there are thousands of cider events that happen each fall season due to the bountiful apple harvest, allowing cidermakers everywhere to proudly exhibit their fruits of labor.
City Fruit’s 6th Annual Cider Taste Fundraiser || Seattle || November 10
The Seattle-based nonprofit, City Fruit, presents its sixth annual Cider Taste Fundraiser featuring 10 Washington State cidermakers, five outstanding Seattle chefs and live and silent auction fun. City Fruit promotes the cultivation of urban fruit in order to nourish people and build a better community. The proceeds of this fundraiser benefit families all throughout the Greater Seattle Area by providing fresh, annual harvest that feeds thousands. Participating cideries include Tieton Cider Works, Schilling Hard Cider, Alpenfire Cider and more.
Cider Week Virginia || Virginia || November 11-20
Vendors throughout the Old Dominion are sharing their cider passion to eager ears and thirsty mouths. Cider Week celebrates Virginia’s long-standing tradition of cidermaking by cherishing the beverage statewide. Whether it’s food or drink, this week-long event is an opportunity for makers, tasters, restaurants, cideries and more to showcase anything and everything cider related. Some highlights include discounts on Virginia ciders, flights at local dive bars and Whole Foods cider tastings. Stay up-to-date as events are posted every day leading up to the events and participation rates are continuing to grow.
The Core Pour 2nd Annual Hard Cider Tasting Walk & Music Festival || Santa Paula, CA || November 12
One ticket, two awesome events. In beautiful downtown Santa Paula, California, The Core Pour is hosting the second annual cider tasting walk and music festival. Along with 17+ hard ciders vendors providing tastes throughout the walk, local eateries will be pairing their cuisine to accompany the various tastings. Not only does this festival provide joy within the Santa Paula community, a portion of the proceeds benefits America in Bloom, a charity designated to keeping the city, and environment, clean.
