Cider Week New York City
Nov. 8-17
This event is put on each year by the New York Cider Association. Cider Week has been a tradition since 2010, it was initially meant to connect cider makers with top restaurants and bars. Nine years later cider fans get to enjoy dozens of events for nine days. Prices, locations and times of these events vary, so check the event schedule to see what’s going down near you.
Richmond Cider Celebration
Nov. 9 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
If you’re getting antsy for the upcoming Virginia Cider Week, check out this festival at Blue Bee Cider first. The one-day celebration offers attendees three different flights of cider from 15 Virginia cideries. The event is free and pets are welcome. Along with grilled cheese sandwiches from Truckle Cheesemongers, First Stop Doughnuts will be debuting its special apple cider doughnut.
The San Francisco Fall Cider Festival
Nov. 9-10 | 12-5 p.m.
For San Franciscans, or just about any cider lover for that matter, this two-day festival is a true treat. Hosted on the lawn at SPARK Social SF, goers can enjoy unlimited pours from more than 20 vendors. And obviously the food, they’ve got that nailed down because the festival is held in a food truck park. Prices vary from $5 general admission to $46 unlimited pours, so hop online and grab your tickets because they’re going fast.
Cider Week Virginia
Nov. 15-24
This cider week offers a huge range of events from luxurious dinners with pairings to a cidermaking workshop at Winchester Ciderworks. Celebrate your favorite beverage the right way with a nice dinner at the Caboose Tavern or talk cider and receive guided flights from the owner of Bryant’s Small Batch Cider. Rootstock: A Celebration of Mid-Atlantic Cider & Music
Nov. 16 | 12-4 p.m.
This Washington, D.C. event is an all-out party with raging music and delicious, unlimited ciders. Whether you choose general admission or VIP, this festival aims to impress. With 50 East Coast cideries, food and bands, what more could you ask for? This is a 21-and-over event, and a nice touch provided by the festival is designated drivers, just select the option at checkout when buying your tickets.
