Don’t get too comfortable in this month of May—June and its plethora of coast-to-coast cider events is ramping up for its arrival onto the scene. With two week devotions to the drink and two festivals in the upper eastern American seaboard, cider drinkers can revel in all that is apple this June.

The week is also focused on increasing awareness for craft cider, local orchards and heirloom apple growth. From tap-takeovers to cidermaker dinners and cheese pairings, the events are just popping up on the calendar for this celebrated festival in an area that is home to 12 cideries and heaps of cider history.

Oregon Cider Week | June 16-26 | Prices vary
Celebrate cider in the Beaver State during this 10-day affair, returning for its fifth year on the job. The week commemorates the long list of award-winning ciders and cideries of the state by way of cidermaker dinners, tastings, tap-takeovers and more. The Portland Cider Summit also runs during this festival on June 17 and 18, sporting more than 150 ciders at Fields Neighborhood Park.

The largest-ever gathering of Pennsylvania cidermakers goes down on a Saturday in historic Gettysburg, also known as “Cider Town” by locals and cider lovers.
