CiderFeast™ Portland Kicks Off The Multi-City Hard Cider Festival with Hand-Picked Cideries and Producers Presenting Their Finest Pours
PORTLAND, ME – Presented by Food Karma Projects, CiderFeast™ Portland kicks off the 2025 CiderFeast™ East Coast Tour on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, with more than fifteen carefully selected cideries and producers bringing their best hard ciders to Oxbow Blending & Bottling.
“The cider scene in Maine is one of the best in the region. It’s why we kick off the CiderFeast™ East Coast Tour in Portland,” says Food Karma Projects founder Jimmy Carbone. “It’s an amazing opportunity to celebrate moms, sample local and regional ciders in and around Maine, try select outstanding international ciders, and pair everything with incredible food—all in one place!”
CiderFeast™ Portland will feature Eleanor Leger of the regional favorite cidery, Eden Ciders. Founded in 2007 on an abandoned dairy farm in West Charleston, Vermont, Eden Ciders produces a range of ciders from bone-dry to sweet using more than 50 apple varieties from their own orchard and small-scale New England orchards.
While the full 2025 CiderFeast™ Portland lineup continues to develop, past participants have included Absolem Cider Company, Rocky Ground Cider, Freedom’s Edge, Whaleback Cider, and many more producers.
Beyond exceptional ciders, CiderFeast™ Portland features food pairing options from Portland’s popular food trucks and specialty hot sauces from Sauce King NYC™ award winners. When the festival wraps up, attendees can continue their cider exploration at Oxbow’s bar, where full pours of their newfound favorites will be available for purchase.
Tickets are on sale now at ciderfeasthq.com. Tickets are $35 per person (plus processing fee) and include all cider tastings and a commemorative CiderFeast™ Souvenir Tasting Glass. Collectible CiderFeast™ Portland t-shirts designed by local artist Mark Reusch can be pre-ordered for $15 (plus processing fee) or purchased on-site for $20 while supplies last.
A media gallery for press use is available here, and interviews with cideries and event organizers can be arranged for pre-event coverage.
