Milwaukee Cider Fest || Milwaukee, WI || October 1 || Three ounce cups are filled all day with many of Milwaukee’s finely tuned brewers and cidermakers that make Milwaukee Cider & Nano Beer Fest a taste to remember. Unlimited sampling of 40+ ciders with live entertainment make this festival located on Schlitz Park one to visit again in the future.
Cider Week Finger Lakes || Ithaca, NY || October 1-9 || Cider-friendly locations surrounding the Finger Lakes all come together and open up their venues to craft a cider comeback where markets, pubs, restaurants and farms display everything that make the delicious drink. Hit up a tap-takeover or two, venture out to the farm for an on-site dinner or buy at your favorite retailer to support the cause from the comfort of your home.
Pour the Core Philly || Philadelphia || October 15 || Join fellow fanatics as you drink and learn about cider all day at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The cider in attendance comes from many local makers, but also from best-selling national brands as well, with even a few imports from Spain and England. Find what you love, from local and beyond, at this fourth annual festival, complete with live music and food trucks to nourish the cider-soaked.
Cider Week NYC || New York City || October 21-30 || Make your way around the city to indulge in cidermakers’ creations both recognizable and those you’ve never seen before. The craft cider celebration hits the Big Apple with apple-focused tastings, dinners, classes, seminars and more events through the city for nine days of cider.
