Minnesota Cider Week has officially commenced and we’re forecasting tap takeovers, trivia, flights and cider line-ups galore.
Kick things off in Minneapolis with the crew at St. Genevieve on Tuesday for a four-course dinner paired with ciders from Keepsake Cidery, Milk & Honey Ciders, Wyndfall Cider and the Number 12 Cider House before trying your hand at Trivia Mafia or checking out the fourth annual Town Hall Cider Competition. This year, nearly one dozen participants will fight for the title of Minnesota’s best amateur cidermaker.
Bid farewell to Minnesota Cider Week at the Craft Cider Festival. Featuring cideries from across the country, this is the only festival in the state that is devoted to cider only. Sip from your favorite ciders, both old and new, while chowing down at the Red River Kitchen.
The cider celebration is also throwing down in New York state during Cider Week Hudson Valley starting on June 9. All week long, enjoy tastings and pairings at the valley’s local joints and cider houses, where you can fill up your growlers and sip from a variety of ciders from across the Empire State.
Don’t miss the third annual Cider Market & Tasting at the historic Historic Huguenot Street, featuring over a dozen New York State cideries, wineries and breweries, plus food trucks and live music. Celebrate Dad at the closing ceremonies of Hudson Valley Cider Week at the Brooklyn Cider House on June 18. Toast to the release of their new Raw Hard Cider while enjoying the pig roast and live music.
