New Limited Batch Cider Available Exclusively through Independent Retailers
(Albany, N.Y.) – Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York’s first farm cidery, is proud to announce the release of its newest limited batch cider, Strawberry Rhubarb. This cider burts with the sweet and tart essence of summer. Other than at Nine Pin’s Tasting Room or through the on-line store, Strawberry Rhubarb will be available exclusively at small independent retailers, in a deliberate choice to celebrate and uplift the local businesses that continue to support craft cider.
Crafted with 100% New York apples from Samascott Orchards and co-fermented with fresh strawberries and rhubarb, also from Samascott, Strawberry Rhubarb offers a juicy, tart, and refreshing profile perfect for warm weather sipping.
“Strawberry Rhubarb is a fresh, local cider meant to be discovered on the shelves of the businesses that make our neighborhoods unique,” said Alejandro del Peral, co-founder and cidermaker at Nine Pin. “By making Strawberry Rhubarb available only at small independent stores, we’re choosing to support the same kinds of businesses that believed in us from the beginning. Cider connoisseurs can enjoy Nine Pin’s ciders seven days a week in their Tasting Room located in Albany’s eclectic Warehouse District, from retailers across New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey and at bars and restaurants who carry Nine Pin products. Nine Pin’s online store now serves residents in New York since the new legislation became effective in the Empire State in November 2024.
