Two Seattle-based woman-owned companies team up to create a cider unlike any other, blending cider and amaro, just in time for the holiday season
SEATTLE (November 18, 2021) – Yonder Cider and Fast Penny Spirits are excited to announce the release of their limited-edition collaboration cider, Velvet Cashmere. Perfect for ringing in the holiday season, this one-of-a-kind cider features Yonder’s Negroni-inspired winter seasonal – Cashmere – blended with Fast Penny’s Amaricano amaro for a beverage unlike any other. Available in two-pack 16-ounce cans, cider and amaro fans can enjoy this beautiful creation at both Yonder and Fast Penny locations beginning this Friday, November 19.

Perfectly tart with notes of cranberry, dark cherry and bitter orange, the addition of amaro brings a beautiful richness to this cocktail-like creation. Aromas of toasted sugar and dark fruit shine through while hints of truffle, vanilla bean and Mexican chocolate mingle with a savory bitterness. At 8.9% ABV, Velvet Cashmere is a unique blend perfect at both the dinner table, or enjoyed by itself.
Two-packs of Velvet Cashmere will be available for purchase ($16) beginning Friday, November 19 at Yonder Bar (7800 1st Ave NW), Yonder’s BBYC Ballard taproom (826 NW 49th St), and Fast Penny Spirit’s Bottle Shop and Tasting Deck (1138 W Ewing St).
