Portland Cider Co. to reopen its Clackamas Pub for sit down service starting May 29

by | May 29, 2020

(CLACKAMAS, Ore. –– May 28, 2020) –– Portland Cider Co. will reopen its Clackamas pub for sit down service starting Friday, May 29. The pub will be open for business Monday through Thursday from 3pm to 9pm; Fridays from 3pm to 10pm; Saturdays from 11am to 10pm; and Sundays from 11am to 9pm.

Located at 8925 SE Jannsen Road, Bldg. F, the production cidery, taproom and restaurant will have a slightly new look, offering a lot more space for everyone. The cidery has spread out tables in the primary taproom and expanded seating into what was a game room. The owners have added string lights and plants to the muraled space, bringing warmth and coziness to an open area.

“We have missed our guests and we are so excited to open back up for business,” said Lynda Parrish, Portland Cider Co. co-owner. “We want to thank everyone for their patience and support as we navigate this new version of pub life.”

With the new space comes a few new rules. Reservations are strongly recommended, with online reservations starting today at PortlandCider.com/pub. Every group must sit at its own table, which have been set up at least six feet apart from one another. A host will direct guests to their table.

All guests are asked to practice physical distancing while waiting to be seated and stay at least six feet apart. Groups are limited to 10 people. Servers will be wearing masks, as well as regularly cleaning surfaces to meet sanitation guidelines; this may slow service a little, so guests are asked to be patient. The company is encouraging guests to wear masks when not seated at their table, but masks are not required. All community games and tables are currently unavailable. Last call will be 30 minutes prior to closing every night.

The Clackamas Pub food menu has changed a bit, but is still offering pub favorites including Cider Fondue and Bangers & Mash.

The Clackamas Pub is still accepting online pre-orders for cider to go during their operating hours, although it has suspended curbside pick-up. Portland Cider Co.’s. Hawthorne Cider House at 3638 SE Hawthorne Blvd continues to offer curbside pickup from 11am to 5 pm everyday, with online ordering available for cider to go. Orders can be placed at PortlandCider.com/to-go.
