Cider is undoubtedly synonymous with apples. But as it turns out, Vermont’s Champlain Orchards takes note of peaches, pears, plums, cherries, nectarines and berries as well; resultant ciders Honey Plum, Honeycrisp Ice Cider, Ginger & Spice and more have been handcrafted from Vermont fruit and born from the cidery whose namesake arose from nearby Lake Champlain.
Among the unique array of ciders is Champlain Orchards Asian Pear, a 5% ABV scrumpy with all the flavor of a cider maintaining the bubbly complexion of a champagne. Apple on the palate meshes with a mouthfeel of pear to arrive at a sessionable and satisfying sipper.
