Adirondack Winery Launches “Cascade” — A Bright, Refreshing New Addition to Its Extreme Heights Cidery Lineup

(Queensbury, N.Y.) — Extreme Heights Cidery, sister brand of Adirondack Winery, is thrilled to announce the release of Cascade Rosé Cider on June 9th, the latest in a lineup of six Extreme Heights Hard Cider varieties. Named after Cascade Mountain, one of the Adirondack 46 High Peaks at 4,098 feet, Cascade is a tribute to adventure, refreshment, and the crisp, clean spirit of the North Country.

Inspired by the extraordinary achievement of owners Sasha and Mike Pardy’s daughter, Ella, Extreme Heights Cidery celebrates her remarkable journey of becoming an Adirondack 46er at just 15 years old. Ella summited all 46 High Peaks in only five weeks through YMCA Camp Chingachgook, covering roughly 295 miles and ascending 70,000 feet. As she told the Glens Falls Chronicle“I learned so much about myself and what I love and care about in life, and about the Adirondacks and the world around me.” Her determination embodies the cidery’s adventurous spirit.

Extreme Heights launched in Fall 2023 with Mt. Marcy (Original), Haystack (Pumpkin Spice), and Algonquin (Cranberry Ginger), followed by the popular additions of Esther (Hibiscus Lime) and Skylight (Orange Passion Fruit). Now, Cascade joins the family — a rosé wine-infused hard cider crafted from 100% New York apples, delivering delicate berry notes, floral undertones, and a crisp, refreshing finish with just a touch of sweetness.

“For our very first batch of Rosé-infused cider, I chose a blend of native New York red wine grapes to blend into our cider base,” said Courtney Rankin, Head Winemaker at Adirondack Winery. “With refreshing hints of apple in each sip, this cider combines the true flavors of a traditional semi-dry cider with the floral, juicy notes of a Rosé wine.”

“We’re so excited to introduce Cascade Rosé Cider — it’s crisp, vibrant, and now available in sleek 12 oz cans along with the rest of our cider lineup,” says Sasha Pardy, Co-Owner and President of Adirondack Winery“It’s the perfect grab-and-go option for summer adventures, from hiking trails to backyard BBQs.”

Extreme Heights Cidery’s hard ciders are handcrafted from New York State apples at the Adirondack Winery Winemaking Facility in Queensbury. Visitors can try Cascade along with the entire cider lineup at Adirondack Winery’s two locations: 285 Canada Street, Lake George, and 395 Big Bay Road, Queensbury. Customers can enjoy Extreme Heights Cider Flights or take home their favorites in convenient canned 4-packs.
