CIDERFEAST™ NYC RETURNS HOME TO NEW YORK TO CELEBRATE NEW YORK CIDER WEEK

CiderFeast™ NYC Brings the Best Ciders in the Region and Beyond to New York for an All-Inclusive Festival Celebrating the Art of Hard Cider

NEW YORK CITY, NY – August 16, 2024 – Food Karma Projects, producer of Brisket King® NYC and Rib King NYC™, is thrilled to present CiderFeast™ NYC at Industry City on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Brooklyn, NY.

CiderFeast™ NYC’s Brooklyn homecoming marks its tenth year celebrating the art of hard cider and arrives just in time to kick off Cider Week New York. The beloved CiderFeast™ NYC is the brainchild of Jimmy Carbone, a hospitality pioneer who hosted some of the earliest Cider Week New York gatherings at his East Village pub, Jimmy’s No. 7, back in 2011. Jimmy’s event is now one of the most noteworthy cider celebrations in the country, with stops in cider-centered cities like Boston, MA, Haverhill, MA, and Portland, ME.

“I was very active at Cider Week in 2014 and organized the first CiderFeast at the Seaport, then loved it so much I kept hosting each year,” says Carbone. “It’s easy to be converted to fine, dry cider when you’re drinking and eating with industry pioneers like Steve Wood of Farnum Hill Cider, Eleanor Leger of Eden Ciders, and Andy Brennan of Aaron Burr Cider. I can’t wait to share these ciders for the tenth year in a row!”

The all-inclusive CiderFeast™ NYC spotlights more than twenty hand-picked ciders from New York State and the surrounding region, plus outstanding international selections and a food menu that includes paella, aged country ham, fresh kimchi, a Heritage Farm vegetable grill, and sausages by Ends Meat, for a true, one-of-a-kind, walk-around tasting event.

Sample pours from:

  • Angry Orchard Cider House, NY
  • Aval Cider, France
  • Barrika Basque Cider, Spain

No cider event would be complete without a menu of exceptional food by artisan producers and regional favorites. At this year’s event, expect cider donuts from Stone Ridge Orchard, Dakota Hams’ 24-month-aged Kentucky ham, selections from whole-animal butcher and salumeria Ends Meat, paella and Parés Baltà wine tasting by Chef Rafa de la Rosa, Cabot Creamery Grilled Cheese hot off the griddles, and hot sauces from BamuBamu Fire Club, Rocket Fuel Foods, and Coney Island Saucery.
