Arbor Day Community Planting
Join us for a tree planting at Indian Creek Campground in Markleeville, CA.
In honor of Earth Month, The Sugar Pine Foundation is hosting a series of tree-planting events to help restore forests impacted by recent wildfires in California. Bay Area-based craft cider brand, Sincere Cider, donated $5,000 to the The Sugar Pine Foundation to support the cost of seedlings and supplies for the Earth Day programs and future events in 2026.
Members of the Washoe Tribe will be providing pynion pine seedlings and we will provide Jeffrey pine seedlings. Please wear layers, work gloves, sun protection, and a full water bottle.
