The Northman, Chicago’s first Cider Pub and Bistro, will be debuting Chicago’s first beer and cider garden this Summer on Chicago’s Riverwalk. In the meantime, The Northman is sponsoring a Celtic Craft River Festival on St. Patrick’s Day located at 233 E. Riverwalk, east of Michigan Avenue. The future site offers perfect views of the river dyeing spectacle and a chance to relax under the heaters with a view of the Wrigley Building.

Provisions will include Irish stew, veggie and breakfast sausages, curry and hot coffee will be supplied by Sparrow Coffee. The Festival will feature Irish American expressions from Breckenridge, Begyle and Aleman Breweries; a pale ale from Temperance Beer Company and The
Northman’s Original Pub Cider. Fear not, green beer will be on hand to honor the dyeing of the river. Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey will be the keystone for Irish Coffees and cocktails. A DJ will be on hand throughout the day spinning contemporary and classic Irish tunes.

This is a free event and open from 9am until 5 pm on Saturday, March 17th. Alcohol will be served from 11am until 4:15pm. Location is 233 E. Riverwalk, Chicago, IL 60601.
