Rogue Fruit Salad Cider

by | Apr 29, 2015

By Erin James

The straight-forward, no-nonsense, GYO (grow-your-own) experts at Oregon’s multi-beverage producer Rogue recently launched a cider division of their eventual drink industry takeover. The brewery-distillery-farm dipped their toe into the cider business with a dry-hopped cider and shortly after released a few other one-offs, with the Fruit Salad sticking. This cider includes a variety of fruity flavors from seven pure, whole fruit ingredients—apples, pears, marionberries, peaches and apricots, with cherries and plums coming from Rogue Farms. That variety comes through the nose as promised—a fruit cup serving of salad, sans syrup but loaded with juicy berry aromas and flavors to finish with tangy apple.
