Cider in the Mountains Festival

October 7, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - October 8, 2017 @ 6:00 pm

Scribner’s First Annual Cider in the Mountains Festival:
October 7th and 8th, Scribner’s Catskill Lodge and on-site restaurant Prospect at Scribner’s will host their first annual Cider in the Mountains Festival. Tickets for the festival include tastings from cider purveyors from upstate New York and beyond, a seasonal lunch by Prospect at Scribner’s, live music, and lawn games on Scribner’s new bluestone patio surrounded by the Catskill Mountains.

Scribner’s partnered with Catskills native Daniel Pucci, New York City’s first pommelier, to curate the ciders that best highlight upstate New York’s contribution to the growing Cider category as well as some of the most notable orchards. Tastings will include ciders from Wayside Cider, Angry Orchard, Orchard Hill, Metal House, Kings Highway, and more.

Prospect at Scribner’s Executive Chef Joseph Buenconsejo will also be highlighting the region’s Fall harvest with a menu that will include an apple kimchi, apple fritters, and apple cider doughnuts.

Daily tickets are being sold for $35 in advance, $40 on-site. Designated Driver and children’s tickets are also available for $20 and $10, respectively.

For New Yorkers looking to safely enjoy the day’s festivities without staying overnight, Scribner’s has chartered a bus to and from Manhattan’s West side. Daily tickets, inclusive of transportation, are currently on sale for $85.

Please note that space for this event is limited, so securing tickets in advance is highly encouraged.
